«PRORIV! » in the Great Britain

The international conference devoted to perspective of settlement of the Transniestrian conflict took place in the Great Britain, in Wilton Park since 16th till 18th of October.
Diplomats, public and state figures from Moldova, Transniestria, Ukraine, Russia, the USA and the European Union countries have taken part in it. The organizers of this summit were the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Great Britain, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania and the Department of the International Development of the Great Britain.
The political organizations of Transniestria at this summit have been presented by the “Obnovlenie” party, in the name of its leader and the speaker of Supreme Soviet of Transniestria Evgeniy Shevchyuk, and by IYC-PDP “PRORIV!” in the name of chief executive Alena Arshinova. She said: «Organizers of the summit have shown high level of preparation and realization. The potential and the status of participants of discussion showed, that conference is directed on development of real offers on settlement of the Transniestrian conflict..
It is necessary to notice, that the Transniestrian delegation having in its structure people with different political views, nevertheless has acted as a united front. We have directly and fairly declared that today there are no preconditions for immediate association with Moldova. IF somebody wants the people of Transniestria change their attitude towards the right coast of Dniester then Kishinev should make a lot in sphere of economy, protection of human rights and ethnic minorities.
In his performance Evgeniy Shevchyuk has emphasized, in my opinion, an important idea. He has noticed that Moldova and Transniestria are in a zone of civilization clash. To overcome this break in our opinion it is much more difficult, than to adjust economic and social and cultural cooperation between Moldavian Republic and Transniestria. It is remarkable, that « PRORIV! », as a political movement has emphasized this conceptual problem earlier. This problem was reflected in analytical comments of our leader and ideologist Dmitry Soin.
The conference in the Wilton Park has shown to all its participants the presence of Transniestrian consensus concerning settlement of the conflict. "I hope very much, that our opinion will be considered by the international community. I would like to note special utility and necessity of dialogue of all sides involved in the conflict on such high debatable platforms as Wilton Park", has underlined Alain Arshinova.
