Statement of IYC-PDP "PRORIV!" devoted to the Memory day of victims of political reprisals

Memory day of victims of political reprisals is celebrated since October, 30th by the decree of the Supreme Body of USSR from 18.10.1991.
To count up the exact number of everybody who suffered from political reprisals it is impossible. According to the State Office of Public Prosecutor, during the effect of the law «About rehabilitation of victims of political reprisals» 636 302 criminal cases concerning 901127 persons were reconsidered fromwhich637614 were rehabilitated.
On October, 30th in Memory day of victims of political reprisals near Solovetsky stone takes place memorial service and afterwards its participants assign wreaths to the Solovetsky stone from the president and the government of the Russian Federation, from the government of the Moscow area, and also from public organizations of victims of political reprisals.
IYC-PDP "PRORIV!" grieve over the victims of reprisals and feel sincerely sympathy for their relatives. At the same time, IYC-PDP "PRORIV!" underline, that only consecutive struggle for safety of democratic institutes and strict observance of laws can become a reliable guarantee from repetition of tragedy of political reprisals in the future. An arbitrariness similar to volume which now prospers in Moldova, should not receive in the hands completeness of the power in the country.
