The leader of “PRORIV!” Alena Arshinova was arrested in Moldova

At about 5:00 p.m. yesterday the executive director of International Youth Corporation and People’s Democratic Party “PRORIV!” Alena Arshinova and the head of the personnel department Valeria Zelinskaya were arrested at the Moldavian fiscal post situated on the highway Kishinev-Bendery. They were stopped on their way from the airport by the policemen in the uniform and the officers of Information and Security Service in civilian clothes. Without showing their certificates and without explaining the reasons, Moldavian policemen screened the belongings and cars of the arrested girls. They also threatened Alena Arshinova and Valeria Zelinskaya with the fact that they “will never leave the post”.
The leader of People’s Democratic Party “PRORIV!” Alexander Gorelovskiy commented on the incident, “We faced the dirty provocation of “war party” in Moldova. They are the representatives of the forces who long for the revanche and reprisal over the dissidents in Pridnestrovie. This incident shows the rightness of those Pridnestrovian politicians who assert that any dialogue with Moldova senseless and dangerous. We will struggle for the liberation of our comrades,”- concluded Alexander Gorelovskiy.
