The embassy of Russia in Moldova has responded to the statement of "PRORIV"

The press-service of IYC-PDP “PRORIV!” declared: "In September of this year "PRORIV" supported the rights of the people of Transniestria who want to receive the citizenship of Russian Federation. This action was connected with the complication of the passport-receiving procedure: to get the citizenship of Russia one had to send a request to Ukrainian embassy to get the confirmation that he or she does not has the citizenship of Ukraine. As a result there were multimonthly lines to get «the Ukrainian confirmation» and their doubtful schemes of «the prompt acceptation», which considerably infringed upon interests of the persons, wishing to become citizens of Russia. The result of the reference of "PRORIV" was the reaction of a number of committees of State Duma and of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. At October, 20th "PRORIV" received the official answer from the embassy of Russia in Moldova with the application of a new order where it is ascertained that it met a number of deficiencies connected, mainly, with the problems to get the Ukrainian confirmation.
For the purpose of removal of intensity by Embassy from September practice of clearing of persons of the given category from necessity of granting of inquiries on absence of the Ukrainian citizenship is entered.
To relieve this stress situation the Embassy put the practice to exempt the persons of given category from necessity to perform the confirmations on absence of the Ukrainian citizenship. Procedure has extremely accurate and transparent character, any intermediaries are excluded from it, criteria are clear and concrete. Any citizen, who believes, that does not have to refer to the Embassy of Ukraine to get the confirmation, submits his personal petition which in extremely terms is surveyed in Embassy. The realisation of the described system as the practice has shown, that on the one hand it allows putting a barrier on a way of illegal acquisition of the Russian citizenship by citizens of Ukraine, and with another - clears from necessity to refer to the Ukrainian Embassy citizens which do not have any basis for it.
Under the information of the embassy, the mechanisms involved at that process, with understanding is perceived by citizens of Transniestria, interested in a legal way to get the Russian citizenship. Naturally, that situation is not good to those citizens of Ukraine living in Transniestria who wish "to get" the Russian citizenship by passing the current legislation. The embassy of Russia in Moldova continues to trace attentively all aspects of realization of organizational-methodical regulations for Transniestria, in case of need, will make required corrective amendments ».
"PRORIV" thanks embassy of Russia for operative reaction to the reference and declares that will be henceforth on guard of interests of the people aspiring to receive the citizenship of the Russian Federation, and also the people who already have the citizenship of Russian Federation
