The action of “PRORIV!” called “St. George ribbon” widens in Pridnestrovie

Today at the Memorial of Glory in Tiraspol there was mourning event in memory of the fighter for Pridnestrovian freedom and independence Nikolai Ostapenko who was killed by the terrorists of the group “Buzhor”.

Traditionally it is the day when the authorities of PMR, the deputies, the members of social organizations and “PRORIV!” activists come to the grave of the hero. Young people together with older generation honor those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of their freedom. The memorial day of Nikolai Ostapenko concurs with the action “St. George ribbon” in Pridnestrovie. “PRORIV!” conducts this action every year. That is why today the activists of “PRORIV!” attach the ribbons to the families and friends of the hero and to the patriots of Pridnestrovie who decided to come to the grave of Nikolai Ostapenko in the pouring rain.

The leader of People’s Democratic Party “PRORIV!” Alexander Gorelovsky said: “Our mission is not to forget the heroes who formed Pridnestrovie as an independent country.
