European Union mission helped to Moldova and Ukraine to eliminate export of arms from Transniestria. It was declared on the Moldavian television channel "NIT" by the president of Moldova Vladimir Voronin.
In particular, Voronin has told, that on the left bank of the river Dniester, 13 enterprises made arms in a non stop mode.
"There even produced 46-barrels installations "Grad", and they also produced "Vasilek" launchers, - the president said.
As he said, the turnover from gun sale in Transniestria was $2 billion a year.
"By means of the European Union we managed to deprive the interest of many people in Kishinev and other places", - added Voronin.
